We thank the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce for selecting New Hope for Kids as their Chamber Cares 2014 project. The Chambers’ unique perspective: to promote and support our business community, but also to enhance the civic and overall well-being of Winter Park demonstrates their care and commitment to the community.
The Chamber Cares initiative will provide funding for the Grief Program, including Camp Ray of Hope, community outreach to local schools and hospitals, Soccer Sundays, a photo-journaling project, art exhibition and equipment for in-house family movie nights. Learn more about this campaign.
What a wonderful Disney day! New Hope for Kids received a $25,000 Making Dreams Come True Grant for our work with grieving children. Executive Director, Dave Joswick and Board Chair, Elizabeth Peele were honored to attend the ceremony and receive the check. Thank you Disney!
