Grief Support

New Hope for Kids provides grief support to children ages 3-18 and their families after the death of a loved one. Group activities help grieving children process their emotions and learn healthy ways to express the complex feelings that come with grief. In our adult support group, parents and caregivers find compassion, guidance, and a safe place to share their experiences and emotions.

The safety of our families, volunteers and staff is our number one priority. Groups will resume virtually on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, from 6-7:30pm. Fall offerings will include virtual sessions every Wednesday, 6′-7:30pm, and one Saturday per month from 11-12:30 (date to be announced). There is a tentative plan to return to our Center, located in Maitland, for limited in-person groups in September.

ONLY Parents and Legal Guardians (including case managers) are authorized to register a child for New Hope for Kids’ grief services.
