Cushman & Wakefield $25,000 Donation

Cushman & Wakefield $25,000 Donation
Saturday, March 31, proved to be a big day for New Hope for Kids. Bruce Mosler, President and CEO of Cushman & Wakefield, presented Dave Joswick and Tamari Miller with a $25,000 check at Cushman & Wakefield’s Annual Awards Conference in Orlando. Also present were Cassandra and Romeo Doty, who attended the Center for Grieving Children. With an audience of 1,500 people, they shared the difference New Hope for Kids made in their lives following the death of Cassandra’s husband, Romeo’s father.

This generous donation occurred because of the passionate efforts of Betsy Owens, an associate at Cushman & Wakefield. Betsy’s sister was murdered in 2002, bringing Betsy to New Hope for Kids’ Center for Grieving Children as a volunteer. She eventually became a Grief Facilitator in the Special Circumstance Group and submitted the application to the Cushman & Wakefield awards committee. As a result of her experience at New Hope for Kids, Betsy was in a strategic position to submit the application for consideration. Thank you, Betsy, for your support and dedication to the New Hope for Kids family!
