Femmes de Couer Donates Van

FEMMES de COUER DONATES VAN

What a great way to start the New Year! In January, New Hope for Kids received a $19,100 donation from Femmes de Couer to buy a van to help provide services to families. Femmes de Couer (Women of Heart) support the Orlando community with charitable donations. In addition to our van, Femmes De Couer granted a wish to 6 year old Zoe. Her wish is to attend Conductive Education, a program for children to help them with motor skills. The $1500.00 check from Femmes de Couer will send Zoe to Conductive Education, which is a system of education for children and adults with physical and multiple disabilities originating from damage to the central nervous system.

According to Dave Joswick, Executive Director of New Hope for Kids, “It is exciting that a van is being donated by our friends at Femmes de Coeur. I was able to negotiate with dealers and not have to be concerned how the van will be financed. I envision the van being driven in the community assisting families we serve while promoting New Hope for Kids.” The money for the van was raised through a fashion show, sponsored by Femmes de Couer. According to Meridth McWaters, President of Femmes de Couer, ” It is such a great feeling to work hard to put on a function and have it so successful that we can help members of the Central Florida Community. In the case of New Hope for Kids, we will provide a van to help children get services.” Thank you Femmes de Couer!
