MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Mitzvah Day coincides with J-Serve, the International Day of Jewish Youth Service and is a part of Youth Service America’s Global Youth Service Day weekend. An annual event, J-Serve provides teens with the opportunity to fulfill the Jewish values of gemilut chasidim (acts of kindness), tzedakah (charitable giving), and tikkun olam (the responsibility to repair the world). Across the globe, teens will join each other to make their community and the world a better place.

Time: 1:00-5:00 p.m.
Location: Drop-off and pick-up at The Roth Family JCC

New Hope for Kids located at 544 Mayo Ave., Maitland FL  32751

Projects:

• New Hope for Kids supports children and families suffering from grief, loss or life-threatening illnesses. Volunteers will be helping beautify the grounds, including plant labels and painting inspirational rocks . Attire: Closed-toed shoes, sunscreen, bug spray. Volunteers Needed: 15.
