Art of the Vine 2012

April 13th proved to be a lucky Friday for all who attended New Hope for Kids 11th annual Art of the Vine at Fields BMW. This popular fundraiser netted $218,299 for our Center for Grieving Children and Wishes for Kids programs!

This year’s Italian-inspired theme created an experience that brought a taste of Italy to Winter Park in the most fun and delicious ways. A living statue helped set an atmosphere of sophisticated fun for guests as they toasted the evening’s festivities and surveyed the numerous offerings. Patrons were delighted as they sauntered past over 100 silent auction items that pampered and celebrated the spirit. Live entertainment included the popular Loria Brothers and Orlando Circle of Friends Chorus for perfect musical magic. An engaging live auction featured trips, dining excursions, art and of course vino! Excitement peaked with the Drawing of Chance for a brand new 2012 BMW 128i, with the lucky ticket belonging to Ken Champion of Winter Park.

Our sincere thanks go to Arthur’s Creative Events and Catering, Brio Tuscan Grille, Budweiser/Wayne Densch, Dubsdread Ballroom and Tap Room Restaurant, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, Godiva Chocolatier, Jake + Micky’s, Lakeridge Winery + Vineyards, Palm Ridge Reserve, Panera Bread, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, ServeAll Catering and TPJ Wine Events. Each vendor served mouth-watering varieties of their special cuisine that delighted the senses.

New Hope for Kids would like to thank our hosts, Fields Auto Group and Fields BMW of Winter Park, for supporting this unique fundraiser. Countless volunteers, including the event committee chaired by Tony Martin, worked before, during and after the event, dedicating their energies to the spirit of our organization and the success of the event. As witnessed by all in attendance, Art of the Vine remains a not-to-be-missed event in the Central Florida community.

That’s Amore!
