COVID-19 Response

A Message from our Executive Director, David Joswick

The safety, health and well-being of the families we serve, our volunteers, and our community are New Hope for Kids’ greatest priority. We are closely monitoring developments regarding the Coronavirus, and are following the advice of the CDC in regards to our country’s efforts to reduce the transmission of and exposure to this virus.

The stress caused by these unusual times is affecting us all. The raw emotions of our grieving families is magnified, especially if their loved one died because of an illness. Families with children in our wish program are having to take extreme measures to ensure their child is protected from exposure at all times.

We want to encourage everyone to act responsibly, and to feel hope as we move forward. Let’s all commit to being part of the solution. Although it will be challenging to say the least, the results will be life-saving for many. Our collective efforts hold the key to better days ahead.
