$5,000 Donation Presented by
Orangewood Presbyterian Church to New Hope for Kids

On Saturday, October 1st, 2005 Orangewood Presbyterian Church, our neighbor, held its first annual 5K run through Maitland. Half the net proceeds were donated to New Hope for Kids. New Hope was selected as a recipient because we reside in the community and members of the church have used our services and have also volunteered at the Center. On October 5th, Jim Johnston and Associate Pastor, Robert Stephens presented our Executive Director, Dave Joswick with a $5,000 check at the Center. According to Dave Joswick, “We expect to expand this burgeoning relationship into a long time one with the church.”
