If your New Year’s Resolution is “Give back to my community” New Hope for Kids Volunteer Orientation will get you started.
New Hope for Kids will offer a General Volunteer Orientation starting at 10 am on January 19, 2013 at their Center for Grieving Children located at 900 N. Maitland Avenue, Maitland FL 32751.
General Volunteer orientation
We will introduce new or refresh the returning volunteers to the mission of New Hope for Kids, discuss the programs and services that are available, and match volunteers with positions that most interest them. Volunteer opportunities include: Grief Facilitation, Wish Assistance, Office Support, Outreach to Schools, Churches and Pediatricians and Family and Fundraising Event Planning.
No registration is need for this two hour program, but a Volunteer Application will be required prior to any assignments. For current Volunteers please share this with friends and colleagues or post in high traffic areas.
Wishes for Kids Orientation
Many Volunteers have expressed interest in getting involved with our Wishes for Kids Programs. Our Wishes for Kids Director, Rosie Wilder will conduct 2 one hour sessions to address the specific of this Volunteer Opportunity.

We will meet at our Business Office located in Fern Park 205 E. SR 436, Second Floor Suntrust Building, Fern Park, FL 32730
Friday, January 25 3 pm – 4 pm or
Monday, January 28 3 pm – 4pm
Space is limited to 10 people each time frame so please let me know what day and date you would be interested in attending. Once you have an opportunity to learn more about program, we can then move forward on assigning specific tasks and meetings.
