Florida Kids and Family Expo is Coming to Central Florida

Orlando, Florida – July 1, 2015 – The First Annual Florida Kids and Family Expo is coming to Central Florida August 29-30, 2015 to the Orange County Convention Center. A portion of the proceeds will benefit New Hope for Kids, our choice charity located in Maitland.

With over 108,000 square feet of air conditioned space, this epic expo covers everything from pre-natal to empty nest and everything in between. With over 150 exhibitors at this event, kids will be thoroughly entertained while parents can discover all that’s possible in their community to enrich their families!

In addition to character meet and greets, live performances, animal interactions, and more, there will be bounce houses, a zip line across the convention floor, a carnival ride, bumper cars, rock climbing wall and additional interactive stations where kids can create and explore.

There will be wild animals, some exotic and others native, with whom the children can touch, hold and interact. Gatorland will be performing four shows per day on stage and Medieval Times will be producing shows each day on our main stage where children can watch a sword fight and cheer for their favorite knight. In addition to these power houses, we will have magicians, ventriloquists, vocalists, dancing troupes, karate demo teams and other entertainment on stage.

Even more fun events will occur at this expo. Hard Knocks will create a room where kids can play laser tag with one

another. Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children will bring their ambulance and allow children to look inside. Lowe’s will have a workshop where kids can create woodworking masterpieces, and Michael’s will run an arts and crafts station for kids. American Girl will be on hand as will FunSpot, WonderWorks, Orlando Magic, and so much more of what Central Florida has to offer. From large businesses to small community-based businesses, there will be something for every family member.

An “Expert Talks” stage will host professionals with interesting topics for families including how to take better family photos with your cell phone, to how to do hair and makeup for teenage girls, to a couponing presentation from Couponers United.

This expo is expecting 15,000 attendees from around Central Florida. Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, Seminole County Public Schools, McDonald’s, Walgreen’s, Championship Martial Arts, Florida Hospital Medical Group, KinderCare, and True Health are some of our major sponsors.
